‘Nail and Wall’

Today’s incident reminds me of a parable about ‘nail and wall’, or ‘nail and fence’. (I always like the first one, ‘nail and wall’)

The parable tells us that every bad thing that we do or say to others is like a nail that was nailed to the wall and when we pull it out, it will leave a hole in the wall.

Perhaps it’s only a small or tiny hole, but it’s there. We can cover it up, but it still leaves a mark. It’s no longer the same.

Well, I learn that I have to be careful with everything I do or say, if it relates with other people. Because if I do or say something bad to them, somehow it will affect them.
And mostly, it’s not a good effect, but the bad one.
